What We Collect

When you join the waitlist

We ask for your email address and we detect your browser language (so we can write to you in your language). That's it.

Why: To notify you when ShelveKeeper launches and send occasional product updates.
Legal basis: Your consent — you gave it when you signed up. You can withdraw it anytime.

When you visit the website

We collect basic, anonymous analytics:

Page URL and referrer (where you came from)
Screen size, browser, operating system, device type
Country (guessed from your timezone — we don't use your IP)
How long you stayed

Why: To understand what works on our website and improve it.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in making a better product. This data is aggregated and can't identify you.

What we DON'T collect

No cookies
No third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel)
No IP addresses
No personal profiles

Where Your Data Lives

Your personal data is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union.

Our website uses Cloudflare as a DNS proxy and CDN to serve pages securely and quickly. This means your data may briefly pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure outside the EU in transit. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and Cloudflare does not store your personal data. Cloudflare operates under EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and complies with GDPR as a data processor.

Who Sees Your Data

Nobody but us. We don't sell, share, rent, or trade your data with anyone.

The only third party involved is Cloudflare, which acts as a data processor for encrypted traffic delivery. Cloudflare does not access or store your personal data.

How Long We Keep It

Waitlist email: Until you unsubscribe, or up to 12 months after ShelveKeeper's public launch — whichever comes first. Then it's permanently deleted.
Analytics data: Kept in aggregated (anonymous) form for up to 24 months, then deleted.

Object — Tell us to stop processing based on legitimate interest
Withdraw consent — Change your mind about the waitlist anytime

Do I Have to Give You My Email?

No. It's completely voluntary. If you don't, you just won't be on the waitlist — that's all. The website works fine without it.

Changes

If we make important changes to this policy, we'll email you before they take effect (if we have your email). The latest version is always at shelvekeeper.com/en/privacy.
